Dual Citizenship

I live here since almost 5 Years,married the same Time,and wait for my 10 Year Greencard,which should arrive soon.In the Meantime i passed the Date from that on i can apply for American Citizenship,my Question is:How much is the Fee for an Application for Dual Citizenship in the German Embassy and how much do i have to pay for a new Passport(would need a new German one in 2 Years) ,and,will i have to travel for my Applikations to the nearest German Embassy (which would be Boston or New York) or can i do something like that online???And what do i need to be eligible for Dual Citizenship,any special Papers from Germany?

For a new German passport you are now required to show up in person at the consular office. I'm not sure if you'll need an appointment; most consular offices require an appointment nowadays.

You'll have to provide valid reasons why you need dual citizenship. Information about both passport and BBG can be found here

I assume you are German? Before you can become and American Citizen, you have to file to keep your German Citizenship. You will need good reasons to do so.

Am besten die links mal ansehen und auf der Webseite des Konsulates alles nachlesen. Die sagen dir genau was du brauchst, was es kostet.
Ist nicht schwer und ich habe noch keinen kennen gelernt dem sie es verweigerten.
