The pantheon of all American

After being admitted to the pantheon of all American there is, this post to let the world know that I finally arrived in the U.S. of A.
You might think it is something along the line of installing a lift kit with Jesse James or shooting barrels with Dick Cheney.
But no, none of that - I am part of a class action settlement! Blessed are all the ambulance chasing lawyers, always on the lookout for a good litigation. Now what do we have? Currency Conversion Fee Antitrust Litigation, under which I filed a charge of $7.38. My ticket to retirement.
Blessed as well are the forms issued by the defendant as ordered by the court which made it unnecessarily difficult to file the wrongfully calculated fees on foreign transactions on my credit card.
After submitting the forms months ago, I am now receiving a Court-approved refund on these fees. The judge of course put more forms in front of me receiving my cut of the $336 million bounty, seized from Visa, MBNA now part of Bank of America and others.
There are three options to choose from, and I will go with the $25-flat-no-questions-asked-Option-1. Safely invested in long term government bonds this will be worth at least $70 in today's money in 2030. I'll keep you posted!

Oh jeez, that hasn't even occurred to me.
We're going with the $25 no question asked as well, particularly since I doubt we had fees anywhere close to that amount.

i went with option #2. let's see what that calculates to. once i know that number, i'm going to round up some vultures and shoot for that bridge andreas wants to sell....
