PCS to the US how can i take my german wife

I am a Army reserve soldier. I am going active duty sometime in the next two months and I will be stationed back in the US. I just got married to a German national.
Now my question is what should I do to get her the right visas to join me
and how long does this take.
I there like an express process service or something like that?
What is the better way for us adjustment of status or consular processing?
Who do i have to talk to at my unit?

Since you live in Germany doing Direct Consular Filing is the fasted way for you guys to go. All you need to do you find here:

Immigrant Visa for a Spouse (IR1 or CR1)

There are also plenty of threads in this forum about Direct Consular Filing, a lot of them are in German, so maybe your wife can read thru them in the visa section.

Usually the whole process takes a few months but if you have orders the Consulate might try to accomodate you and speed things up so your wife can accompany to the States right away.

Don't ask the Army about any visa information! A lot of times you get wrong information. This forum is much better help in visa matters.

But save all your receipts of the visa process. If your wife is on your orders you will get reimbursed for the visa fees by the Army.

tell your wife to read this: http://www.auswanderer-forum.com/for...ocedure-64150/ and make sure to get all her and your paperwork together a.s.a.p. some of the stuff takes weeks to get so you have to start NOW
if you are not on orders in germany, you will have to pay for the visa yourself.
the army cannot assist you but you can write your congresmann and see if he would and could help push things through faster.
DCF usually takes a couple of months but under the circumstances you can get it done in 6 weeks if you ask them politely
