there is a minority group which tries to get their point across. now it's time for the majority to show off, or to shut up

I agree on this one. The individual who has been fighting the cross of the war memorial on top of Mount Soledad in San Diego for more than a decade recently passed away because of cancer. However, he transferred the issue to the UCLA who keeps on fighting to get the cross removed. Obviously, the UCLA also has more money. Nobody else seems to be offended by the cross, not the Jewish communities, nor the Moslem communities, nor anybody but the UCLA.

I am with you on this one. I can't stand them, they lie, manipulate and have the power through money.
This is so old, it is sad. We look at billboards all day long, some are entertaining some are stupid, but nobody fights them. This cross has been there forever and they want it removed. So they fight and fight. Yuck.

The problem with this organization and others pretending to protect the rights of minorities is that some of them are trying to attack any democratic process. Every time there is a democratic decision made there will be a majority who voted for and a minority who voted against. These organizations are now trying to bend the laws once instantiated to protect any type of minority (ethnic, religious, etc.) from abuse etc. to overrule democratic decisions. In my eyes this is a very dangerous attack on any society based on democracy. The problem already is that it seems to be enough to be "offended" by something or somebody to trigger lawsuits and other actions. The lower the barriers for these offenses are set from case to case the more at jeopardy the democratic society will be.

As long it is not American rights, they help you.
This is america, we need to keep our religion, our rights , not worry about others.
Because when you come here, you in USA, not your homecountry.
