Mein Status: Aktivierungsreise im Juni 09, GC-Stempel im Reisepaß, warte auf Zusendung der GC an US-Adresse. Bin aktuell noch in D, kann auch so schnell noch nicht wieder in die USA.

Habe gerade folgende Anforderung vom US Department of Homeland Security bekommen:

"You are requested to come into this office in order to complete the I-89 processing for your Alien Registration Card (green card). Please make an appointment by going to WWW.USCIS>GOV and click on INFOPASS in order to come into this office. You should bring this notice, your Arrival/Departure Record, Form I-94, your passport, and two ADIT style non-digital color photos (three photos if your passport is expired, is about to expire, or you do not have a passport)."

Kann mir bitte jemand sagen, ob ich das auch von Deutschland aus erledigen kann, ohne extra rüberzufliegen? DANKE!!!!

Hast Du dir den Link mal angeschaut? Unter Infopass kannst Du auch dein Land angeben, wenn Du dich nicht in den USA aufhälst. Was danach kommt weiß ich allerdings nicht da ich nicht weitergemacht habe.
Ich würd's einfach mal ausprobieren. Vielleicht geht da was über das Konsulat in Frankfurt.

Form I-89 kann nur von einem USCIS Mitarbieter ausgefüllt werden und ist sozusagen der formelle Antrag an das Service Center zur Ausstellung der Green Card, wenn ich mich nicht irre.
