hallo ihr lieben, ich bin bei den Vorbereitungen für mein Pack 3 des k1 visums.. und habe eben das neue Formular ds160 entdeckt. Habe mein pack 3 noch nicht erhalten also weiss ich nicht was das Konsulat erwartet, noch das alte ds 156 oder schon das neue!?
Hat jemand schon erfahrung damit gemacht, und weiss auch wie das mit dem Elektronischen Bild abläuft???

Applying for a Visa

The consular section at the embassy or consulate where you, the fiancé(e) of an American citizen, will apply for a visa, will tell you about any additional specific requirements that you need to fulfill to complete your visa application, such as where you need to go for the required medical examination. During the interview process, an ink-free, digital fingerprint scan will be taken. Some visa applications require further administrative processing, which takes additional time after the visa applicant's interview by a Consular Officer. The following is required:
A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond the applicant's intended period of stay in the United States (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions).
Birth certificate
Divorce or death certificate of any previous spouse for both the applicant and the petitioner
Police certificate from all places lived since age 16
Medical examination (vaccinations are optional, see below)
Evidence of financial support (Form I-134, Affidavit of Support may be requested.)
Two Nonimmigrant Visa Applications, Form DS-156 (A Form DS-156, prepared in duplicate.)
One Nonimmigrant Fiancé(e) Visa Application, Form DS-156K
Two nonimmigrant visa photos (each two inches 50 X 50 mm square, showing full face, against a light background)
Evidence of a fiancé relationship
Payment of fees, as explained below.

The consular officer may ask for additional information according to the circumstances of the case. Documents in foreign languages should be translated.

Take clear, legible photocopies of civil documents, such as birth and marriage certificates, to the interview. Original documents can then be returned to you.

aber in Pack 3 müsste das ja verständlich aufgeführt sein, welches man ausfüllen muss oder????

Habe das noch schnell rauskopiert:

Review the FAQs for exceptions and to find out which nonimmigrant categories continue to use the DS-156 at this time. It is important that you review the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for guidance on using the new online form.

Und dort steht:

13. When I apply for a nonimmigrant visa using the online DS-160, are additional forms required?
No, with two exceptions. When applying at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate that is using the new DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application, you will use only one (1) form. For Embassies and Consulates that have converted to this new process, the DS-160 has replaced all of the following forms: DS-156, DS-157, DS-158, and DS-3032, which are no longer necessary.
NOTE: The exceptions are Fiancé(e) Visas (K-1/2) which still require use of the forms DS-156 and DS-156K, and the Treaty Trader/Treaty Investor visa application, which is explained in #14 below.
