English Chatroom

When I stumbled across the "English only" section a few days ago, I was wondering why it seemed to be almost dead. There is really not much going on.
So I thought we might give it a try and start some sort of chatroom where we could talk about all kinds of things in English in order to improve our language skills. And maybe some native speakers or expatriates could offer some corrections?

What do you all think?

(If you are not too enthusiastic about the idea, it won't hurt if this thread dies like many of the others

)

Well, my idea was that everybody (no matter how good their English is) can write something here and can get corrections (if they don't mind), so that they can improve their English.

Let's see if some more people are interested.

Maybe I should tell you something about myself. I haven´t been in this forum very long, but I have found it very helpful so far for planning my trip to the States this summer.
I am not a native speaker of English, so any corrections of my posts are always welcome, too.

I live in the beautiful Allgäu, and I love to go cycling through this terrific landscape. What else can I say? I have a hubby and two children (13 and 14 years old - a terrible age, I can tell you...
